General Listening Test

How well do you really listen? Take this short self-test. There are no "right or wrong" answers. But it might show you some areas in which you could make improvements.

Please respond to the statements as thoughtfully, objectively, and honestly as you can. Score yourself on each statement by checking one of the four numbers to the right. Interpret the numbers this way:

  1. I need a great deal of improvement
  2. I'm doing just "so-so" and could improve quite a bit
  3. I'm doing pretty well, although there is room for some improvement
  4. I'm doing exceptionally well
